    List of material needs that you can bring to our centre

    • Black or dark blue shoes for children and teenagers (age 5-18) + dark blue or black socks

    • Soccer balls, jerseys, shoes, cones, uniforms
    • Watercolor, brushes, and paints in all colors
    • Ty-dye paint and white t-shirts (sizes ages 5-17)

    • School backpacks for kids and teenagers
    • 1 new laptop for a teacher

    • Spray disinfectant for classrooms

    (1) Craft materials & decorations for art classes:

    Construction paper, stickers, erasers, markers, tempera paint, glue sticks, silicon glue, glue gun, buttons,
    beads, masking tape, transparent tape, sharpie permanent markers, white art papers, glitter, sticky-back
    plastic, googly eyes, stickers, colored tissue paper9, rainbow feathers, buttons, colored pasta shapes, tape, pompoms, yarn, fabric scraps, foam paint, pipe cleaners, woodcraft sticks, colored tissue paper, colored pencils, yarn, stamps, cotton balls, foam balls, food coloring, canvas, wrapping paper.

    (2) School supplies package for 1 child must contain:

    1 Geometry set, 1 compass, 1 set pencil colors, 1 calligraphy notebook, 1 pair scissors, 5 pens (3 colors), 1 eraser, 1 set of pencils (gray), 1 pencil sharpener, 5 folders (letter format), 1 school glue), 10 notebooks (80 or 100 pages with lines), 1 glue.

    Requirements for volunteering at CEPIA

    • Apply for volunteering on this form at least one month before you want to start (include your motivation & personal information required below);
    • Be interviewed by one of our staff members on the first day of your volunteering at our center or via skype, and sign our volunteer contract;
    • You must be at least 18 years old to apply;
    • You must speak an intermediate level of Spanish;
    • Availability to work as a volunteer a minimum of 16 hours a week during at least 6 weeks; if you want to volunteer in January or July the volunteering time can be reduced to a minimum of 2 weeks (Jan 7 - Feb 7, and July 1-15, for summer camp season);

    CEPIA does not offer remuneration for the volunteer work, for transportation, for food or housing. The volunteer will be assigned to a staff member of CEPIA who will be his/her supervisor. Volunteers receive money to buy materials or transport for the development of activity or home visits.
