We also thank NIBBANA restaurant who offers to take care of the Youth group’s lunch. It is an important help for our budget and also a “delicious” attention for our young people.

Young people in action!

The 6th of February 2009, we welcomed a new group of 22 teenagers at CEPIA. They started computer instruction and English, the most useful tools these days to find a job. They are really motivated and really want to make it in life, because they do not participate in any other educational system. We give them a big applause because they do believe in us as we believe in them.

Courses for everybody!

The organization CEPIA is linked to education and that is why we started recently to give English classes to teens and adults at night who are older than 15 and who want to learn and get better every day. Also, registration started for the courses of CINDEA and the classes will be given at the centre in Huacas.

Federico Pilurzu offered as a CEPIA volunteer 2 surfing classes to 34 children from poor backgrounds and with learning problems. The positive image of the famous surfer and the experience of standing up on a board help these vulnerable children to believe more in themselves.

The non profit organization CEPIA hold on March 22nd on Flamingo beach its annual event to raise funds to continue its projects to benefit the children of the coastal area. It was an event that brought together all kinds of cultures that are united for one reason, in their hearts, the Costarican children.
